Ranking of Audit Firms: Baker Tilly TPA consistently in the top 10 of audit companies by revenue

This year’s 21st edition of the ranking of audit firms by  “Rzeczpospolita” and “Parkiet” dailies means good news for Baker Tilly TPA team. In terms of company size, defined by revenue level, we ranked 9th in the published summary. This means that Baker Tilly TPA is one of the best and largest audit firms in Poland.

“Being named one of the largest and best auditing firms in Poland is certainly something to be proud of. There are currently over 1,300 audit firms in Poland, and Baker Tilly TPA is in the top 10 in terms of revenue from audit and total revenue. Our entire team can take the credit for that. The recognition is the reward for our full commitment to our clients’ projects. My sincere thanks and congratulations to the entire team,” said Krzysztof Dziekoński, Partner, Audit and Business Advisory, Baker Tilly TPA,

and went on to say: “Thanks are also in order for our clients who put their trust in us and chose our team to be their auditor.”

“Looking at the latest ranking of audit firms, it is impossible to ignore the realities in which auditors in 2021 were operating, because that was the year the editorial teams evaluated. These were consecutive months when the pandemic prevailed, which meant slightly different rules for conducting audits. New technologies are becoming increasingly important in auditing, allowing much of the work to be performed remotely. This undoubtedly speeds up the entire process, but also makes it more efficient. Today, from the perspective of those two years during which the pandemic accelerated the audit automation process, we can see how much time – ours and our clients’ – we can save, while the audit itself can be more extensive and precise. These processes are certainly not going to stop, much less go back. On the contrary, remote audit and its increasingly modern face, employing IT technologies and tools with the participation of auditors, is the future,” said Krzysztof Horodko, Managing Partner, Baker Tilly TPA.

The ranking of audit firms by the “Rzeczpospolita” and “Parkiet” dailies has for years distinguished the best and the largest consulting firms providing audit services. It examines how the audit industry’s employment structure or revenue volume is changing. It also addresses key industry topics and analyzes current challenges. This year, they invariably included regulatory issues, as well as the impact of the pandemic effects on reporting, rising inflation – and, last but not least, the war in Ukraine. These are just a few of the factors that have and will continue to affect auditors’ work in the near future.

“If someone asked me what auditing means for me I would answer without hesitation: constant change. Recent years have only accelerated this trend. The requirements of the market regulatory and supervisory authority are increasing at a rapid pace. On top of that, there are changes in standards that audit firms must implement and put into practice. Clients are also noticing these changes. Unfortunately, this trend is unlikely to stop. The requirements of the lawmakers, but also of the market, will only increase, and auditors will have to adapt to the changing realities if they want to conduct audits properly and safely. Clients will also be involved in these changes” said Monika Tuzimek, Partner, Audit and Business Advisory, Baker Tilly TPA.
