Gain a competitive advantage by implementing an ESG strategy for your company and planning sustainability data reporting that meets CSRD requirements. ESG enables you to create value – not just for the largest companies.
We provide comprehensive support at every stage of strategy development and implementation, from gap analysis and double materiality analysis, to implementation of policies and programs, data collection, sustainability report preparation and report verification.
Today, ESG is an integral part of the business conversation and many companies are navigating the new regulatory and market landscape, responding to increasing regulatory requirements and expectations from investors, business partners and customers.
Under the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), sustainability reports will become part of annual reports and will be subject to the same accountability regime as annual reports.
Companies that are required to prepare and disclose sustainability reports will be subject to legal sanctions for failure to comply with this obligation or for breaches in relation to the information disclosed.
However, it is worth remembering that today, companies of any size can face a lack of access to preferential financing if they do not have an ESG strategy and do not disclose sustainability data.
Until now, the legal requirement to report sustainability data has only applied to the largest companies covered by the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD). For the rest of the market, it is a welcome addition to business strategy, often presented in the form of colorful marketing brochures, without the backing of international standards for sustainability data reporting.
The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), now in force, not only affects a much broader group of companies. It also significantly expands the scope of data reported, putting ESG at the heart of a company’s business strategy.
Companies are required to transparently report on their sustainability performance – in the context of environmental impacts, stakeholders and corporate governance that supports sustainability.
Our team can help you develop and implement an ESG strategy that not only meets increasing regulatory obligations and the demands of investors, business partners and customers, but more importantly, builds a company’s long-term competitive advantage and resilience to changing market conditions.
