Katarzyna Chwalbińska-Kusek chairs the Baker Tilly International ESG Assurance Group
We are pleased to announce that Katarzyna Chwalbińska-Kusek, Partner and Head of ESG Advisory at Baker Tilly TPA (Poland) has been appointed to chair the Baker Tilly International ESG Assurance Group. This dedicated team is committed to advancing ESG Assurance expertise across our global Baker Tilly network.
It is a significant honor for Katarzyna, as Baker Tilly International ranks among the ten largest professional services networks worldwide and continues to grow in influence and reputation each year. In response to its expanding role, the network is continuously strengthening and broadening its support areas for members and experts including the establishment and development of specialized groups, such as the ESG Assurance Group.
Katarzyna’s appointment reflects her outstanding expertise and over 18 years of experience in sustainability and ESG field. Since 2007, she has been developing strategies that mitigate financial, operational, product, and reputational risks while building long-term value for organizations. She is one of only 10 professionals in Poland with valid accreditation by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Certified Sustainability Professional), which highlights her recognized authority in sustainability reporting.
She supports clients with ESG reporting aligned with international standards and frameworks, including GRI, ESRS, and TCFD. She also serves as an expert on the Real Estate Committee of the Polish Chamber of Commerce and is a dedicated educator and business coach who lectures in postgraduate and MBA studies and mentors emerging professionals in the field.
